This challenging hiking route will take you to the beautiful Seefeld See - Lago Grande via the Schellenbergsteig trail. The trail has a total distance of 9.789 kilometers with an elevation gain of 980 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before starting your hike. As you make your way along the trail, about midway through, you will encounter a tranquil water feature, providing a perfect spot to rest and take in the scenery.
One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the Seefeldscharte saddle, located approximately 3.65 kilometers from the start. From this vantage point, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
On the return journey, you will pass by an information point at around 4.08 kilometers from the start, where you can learn more about the area and its history.
