Welcome to the Barajones hiking route!
Barajones is a beautiful area known for its stunning natural surroundings and picturesque views. This hiking route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 4.891 kilometers and an elevation gain of 102 meters, making it an easy to moderate hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you embark on this journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. To start off, you will find a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way through the route, you will pass by Albergue La Parada, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some rest.
About midway through the hike, you will encounter two peaks - one located 2.32 kilometers from the start and another at 2.45 kilometers. Although the second peak may require a slight detour, the breathtaking views it offers make it worth the extra distance.
If you're feeling hungry or thirsty, there is Bar Restaurante Riosol located 0.38 kilometers from the trail, where you can grab a bite to eat or quench your thirst. Additionally, there are drinking water stations at 0.43 kilometers and 0.13 kilometers from the start, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your hike.
As you near the end of the trail, you will find a picnic site where you can relax and enjoy a meal while taking in the scenic surroundings.
