Welcome to the hiking route to La Pared! This challenging trail spans a distance of 7.361 kilometers with an elevation gain of 908.0 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure.
Starting at the parking area, you will set off on a journey through the stunning natural landscapes of the area. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest that add to the allure of the hike. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Aguja Merlín and Pared del Mampodre rock formations, perfect for climbing enthusiasts to admire.
As you continue your ascent, you will reach Albergue La Parada, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. Further along the trail, you will encounter peaks such as Gistral, Pico Salamanquino, and Pico el Convento, each offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
Midway through the hike, you will pass through saddles like the one at Pico el Convento, providing a brief respite before continuing your uphill journey. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, as well as check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike.
As you reach the end of the trail at La Pared, you will have completed a demanding but unforgettable trek through the rugged terrain of the area. Take in the breathtaking views and bask in the sense of accomplishment before making your way back along the same route.
