This challenging hiking route at Pointe Droset offers stunning views and historic landmarks along the way. Starting at the trailhead, hikers will first come across the Fort de Variselle, a significant castle of historic importance located just 0.08 kilometers from the start.
As you continue on the trail, you'll encounter various ruins such as Ricovero del Giaset n°1, n°2, and n°3, each with its own unique history, around the 3.5-kilometer mark, with some ruins directly on the trail.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 5 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Pointe Droset, a natural peak offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Nearby, there is also Centro 8, an attraction with historic significance.
Further along the trail, hikers will pass by landmarks like Batterie de Frasere Alte and Centro 7, both sites of historic forts and attractions worth exploring.
Throughout the route, there are informational markers, water springs, and drinking water stations to keep you hydrated and informed about the area.
