Hiking : Olakoetxeko

This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Olakoetxeko. The trail is 3.958 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. You can expect to spend about 1 hour on this out-and-back trail.

As you start your journey, you will come across parking areas where you can leave your vehicle. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest. At around 0.03 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water facility, perfect for refilling your water bottle.

Further along the trail, at 0.96 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak known as Ixerdi, offering stunning views of the surroundings. At 1.07 kilometers, you will pass by Gallarre, another peak worth exploring.

As you continue on, you will come across Andraka jatetxea and Andraka sagardotegia, two restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat. These are situated right at the beginning of the trail, allowing you to fuel up before or after your hike.

Towards the end of the trail, at 1.98 kilometers from the start, you will reach the destination point of Olakoetxeko. Here, you can take in the scenic beauty before heading back the way you came.
