This extremely difficult 13.854 km circular hiking route will take you through the breathtaking Rastkogel area. With an elevation gain of 1135 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart.
Starting at the designated parking area, you will begin your journey towards Rastkogel. Along the way, you will find several water sources, some closer to the start and others further away. It's crucial to stay hydrated, so make sure to refill your water bottle at these points.
As you trek onwards, you will come across informative signposts providing insight into the area's history and ecology. Take a moment to pause and learn more about the surroundings. Additionally, there are benches strategically placed along the trail for you to rest and enjoy the scenic views.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Rastkogel peak, standing tall at 2762 meters. This is a great spot to take a breather and soak in the panoramic vistas that surround you.
On the way back, you'll pass by more water sources, ensuring you stay refreshed until you reach the endpoint of the trail.
