This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Canal del Perro. With a total distance of 13.731 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1226.0 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart. It is estimated to take around 6 hours and 14 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area near Fuente Oscura, you will begin your journey towards the wilderness hut known as Chozo de Llós, which is located 3.92 kilometers from the start. Along the way, you will pass by the saddle of Bustiello at 2.46 kilometers and the Collado del Burro at 6.69 kilometers. Be sure to admire the natural springs of Fuente Vega de Llós at 4.11 kilometers and Fuente Oscura at 2.63 kilometers. If you need a break, there is a cafe named Bar El Pilo and a restaurant nearby for sustenance.

As you continue on, you will encounter various peaks such as Altos de la Canal at 6.69 kilometers, as well as several other peaks further along the trail. These peaks offer breathtaking views but require careful attention due to the challenging terrain.

On your way back, make a stop at the information point located at 0.03 kilometers from the start, where you can learn more about the area. If you're interested in cultural attractions, you can visit the Horreos arcaicos at the beginning of the trail.
