This hiking route will take you through the beautiful natural landscapes of the area, starting at a picturesque point near the Fischteich (Fish Pond). The trail will lead you past the Café Naturpark where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.

As you continue on the route, you will come across the Waldfreundehütte, an alpine hut where you can rest and soak in the stunning views of the surroundings. The hut is located approximately 4 kilometers away from the starting point, offering a great spot for a mid-way break.

Throughout the hike, you will also encounter various points of interest such as the Obersberg viewpoint, the Pfarrkogel peak, the Hirschkogel peak, and the Liedl-Gedenkstein memorial. These landmarks provide excellent opportunities to appreciate the natural beauty of the area and snap some memorable photos.

With a total distance of 8.9 kilometers and an elevation gain of 841 meters, this hike is of moderate difficulty. It is advisable to bring plenty of water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on the journey. Remember to pack some snacks for energy along the way.

The route follows an out-and-back path, starting at an elevation of 608 meters and reaching its highest point at the destination by the Waldfreundehütte at 1451 meters. Enjoy the tranquility of nature and the stunning views as you hike through this captivating landscape.
