This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the beautiful area surrounding Waldfreundehütte. The trail spans a total distance of 8.929 kilometers with an elevation gain of 839 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Starting off, you'll come across the picturesque Fischteich, located right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you'll encounter Cafe Naturpark, a cozy spot for a quick break only 0.02 kilometers away from the start.

About midway through the hike, at 4.46 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the charming Waldfreundehütte alpine hut. This is a great place to take a rest and enjoy some refreshments before heading back.

Along the route, you'll also find Obersberg viewpoint and peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape at 4.45 kilometers from the start. Further on, you'll pass by the Pfarrkogel (Hauskogel) peak at 0.49 kilometers from the start, adding to the scenic beauty of the hike.

Throughout the trail, there are various facilities such as benches, picnic sites, and information points to enhance your hiking experience.
