This hike will take you through the stunning area around Streimling. The route is an out-and-back trail that spans a distance of 8.391 kilometers with an elevation gain of 437 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge both your endurance and strength.

As you set off on your adventure, you'll come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, there is a zoo just 0.05 kilometers away from the starting point. Further along, you will find a parking area right on the trail, perfect for easy access. About 0.17 kilometers into the hike, there is a natural water source where you can fill up your water bottle and take a refreshing break.

As you continue onwards, at around 4.2 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the peak of Streimling, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to take a moment to soak in the beauty of your surroundings before heading back.

Along the trail, you will also come across a historic wayside cross, a tourist fountain, and an information point showcasing protected plants in Niederösterreich. Midway through the hike, at 3.51 kilometers, you'll find the Haasenbankerl viewpoint with a bench where you can rest and enjoy the scenic vistas.
