Welcome to the Chemin du Bois de Châtillon hiking route! This scenic trail offers a super easy hike with a total distance of 1.706 kilometers and an elevation gain of 41 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is around 30 minutes.
The route starts at the Marly Au Port area, where you can find ample parking facilities nearby for your convenience. As you begin your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will encounter the lovely spot called Ärgera, which is a water feature only a short distance from the trail.
As you continue hiking, you will pass by informative markers such as Protection de l'environnement and Eau de qualité (Tour des trois rivières), providing interesting insights into the surrounding environment. Further along the trail, you will also come across the impressive Chêne du 700 ème anniversaire de la confédération, a historic memorial that adds to the charm of the hike.
For nature enthusiasts, there are several water points and benches strategically placed along the route for your comfort. Additionally, there are viewpoints like Navigation sur la Sarine (Tour des trois rivières) where you can take in the beautiful scenery.
