The hike on Sentier d'Aubarde offers a challenging and extremely difficult adventure, covering a distance of 12.269 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1129 meters. The route is an out-and-back trail, starting at a parking area conveniently located at the trailhead.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by the serene Lac de Sarrouyes located approximately 4.53 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at a distance of 5.7 kilometers, you will encounter the beautiful Lacs des Miares. These scenic water bodies offer a perfect spot to rest and take in the natural surroundings.

Around 2.21 kilometers into the hike, hikers will find the Cabane Tuc D Ardounes, a shelter providing a resting place for weary travelers. Moving forward, at 1.44 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Tuc d'Ardounes peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the landscape.

As you continue on the trail, you will also encounter a fountain and several information points providing insights into the local area. Additionally, the trail features viewpoints such as tuc de Couret and Les Myrtilles, situated at various points along the route.

For adventurous souls, there are free-flying sites at Ardounes and Les Myrtilles, offering opportunities for paragliding and experiencing the thrill of soaring through the skies.
