This extremely difficult 16.212-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning Punta de l'Abella peak. The trail starts at a parking area and gradually ascends towards Cabane Jean-Forgues, which is situated 1.99 kilometers from the start and provides a nice resting spot along the way.
As you continue your journey, you will come across Cabane de La Pez around the 2.27-kilometer mark, offering another opportunity to take a break and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Further along the trail, at around 5.81 kilometers from the start, you will reach the picturesque Port de la Pez saddle, providing panoramic views of the area.
