This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Štrbáková. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 8.754 kilometers and an elevation gain of 286 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge both your stamina and strength.

As you begin your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Approximately 0.5 kilometers into the trail, you will find information points such as "Geologické pozadie horného toku Hnilca" and "Náučný chodník Stratenský kaňon" that provide insight into the geological background and features of the area.

As you continue on, you will encounter more informational points about the "Stratenský kaňon" including details about flora, geology, history, caves, and hiking opportunities. These points are spread out along the trail, offering a chance to learn more about the area as you hike through it.

About midway through the hike, you will come across a memorial site and a bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Further along, at approximately 4.12 kilometers into the trail, you will reach the peak of Štrbáková which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
