This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of D 18, offering a leisurely and easy hike with a total distance of approximately 4.24 kilometers and no elevation gain.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Étangs Jumelés at just 0.07 kilometers from the trail. These twin ponds are a serene spot to admire the local flora and fauna. Further along the trail at 0.32 kilometers, you will find the Étang des Carpistes, a larger fishing pond ideal for a peaceful break.

Continuing on, at 1.92 kilometers from the start, you will reach L'Étang Solitaire, a solitary pond surrounded by lush greenery, offering a tranquil setting for relaxation. At 2.07 kilometers, you will pass by another water feature, followed by Étang aux Écrevisses at 0.16 kilometers from the start, where you can spot some crustaceans in their natural habitat.

In the latter part of your hike, you will encounter Presqu'île aux Oiseaux at 0.4 kilometers, adding a touch of bird watching to your outdoor adventure. Before heading back, make sure to stop by the viewpoint at 0.4 kilometers and the picnic site at the trailhead to capture breathtaking views and enjoy a well-deserved picnic.
