This hiking route takes you to the Vratca Saddle on the Geološka pot E7 trail, also known as the former mule track. The trail is located in a beautiful natural area with stunning peaks and viewpoints along the way.
Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will embark on a 10.88-kilometer out-and-back journey with a total elevation gain of 834 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 4 hours and 36 minutes to complete.
As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. About 4.08 kilometers from the start, you will find the Šija peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Continuing on, at approximately 2.91 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Čez Suho saddle, a perfect spot to take a break and admire the natural beauty of the area.
Around the 5.41-kilometer mark, you will encounter the Vratca saddle, another noteworthy site along the route. This saddle provides a great vantage point to appreciate the geological features of the area. Additionally, be sure to keep an eye out for the Vrh Dlani peak, the cave entrance at 4.17 kilometers, and various viewpoints and informational signs scattered throughout the hike.
