This hiking route is set in a stunning area with beautiful natural landscapes and historic sites. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 14.61 kilometers and an elevation gain of 948 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the attraction known as Okrepčevalnica Savica, a restaurant where you can fuel up before your hike. Along the way, you will also encounter several historic ruins, such as the ruins of an ancient structure, providing a glimpse into the area's past.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the Koča pod Bogatinom alpine hut, a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the surrounding scenery. You can also find Dom na Komni, another alpine hut, a little further along the trail. Additionally, there are several information points along the route where you can learn more about the area's history and natural features.

Towards the end of the trail, you will pass by memorials like the one dedicated to Janezu Cvetku, adding a poignant touch to your hiking experience. As you complete the hike, you will have the opportunity to relax at a picnic site or enjoy a barbecue at a designated area.
