This challenging hike takes you along the Cuerda Larga trail, located in a beautiful natural area with stunning viewpoints and peaks to admire along the way.

Starting at Aparcamiento Arroyo del Mediano, you will begin your 11.292-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 540 meters. As you trek through the rugged terrain, make sure to stop at Hueco de San Blas, an informative spot just 0.02 kilometers from the start, where you can learn more about the area.

Midway through the hike, at around 5.65 kilometers from the start, you'll come across a picturesque viewpoint that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take a moment to soak in the beauty before continuing on towards the peaks of Cuerda Larga.

At 3.4 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a refreshing spring to replenish your water supply. This will be a welcomed sight as you tackle the difficult terrain and push towards the summit.

As you reach the peaks at 0.12 and 3.63 kilometers from the start, you'll be rewarded with sweeping views that make the challenging ascent worth it. Be sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate gear for this demanding hike.
