Welcome to the Sentier du talc hiking route!

Located in a picturesque area with stunning mountain views, this 8.415-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a challenging yet rewarding hiking experience. With an elevation gain of 860 meters, this route is classified as difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.

Along the trail, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you will find the Source du ruisseau de Fountrounne, a natural spring where you can replenish your water supply. As you make your way further, you will reach the Cabane du Pas du Gai, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy a snack.

Midway through the hike, you will come across the Étang supérieur, a beautiful mountain lake perfect for a peaceful moment of relaxation. The Col du Trou de l'Ours, a scenic saddle point, offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and is a great spot for taking photos.

Towards the end of the trail, you will reach the Pic de Saint-Barthélemy, a prominent peak with breathtaking views of the valley below. Make sure to stop and admire the scenery before turning back.
