This challenging hiking route takes you to the stunning Terrasse area. With a distance of 8.762 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1148 meters, the hike is sure to test your endurance. Starting at the Parkplatz Ullachtal parking lot, you will begin your journey towards the Passauer Hütte, which is a cozy alpine hut located 4.38 kilometers from the trailhead. Along the way, you will pass by the Mittagsscharte saddle, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks.

As you continue on the trail, you will encounter the Westliche Mitterspitze and Mitterhorn peaks, although they are slightly off the main trail. For a panoramic view of the area, make sure to stop by the Terrasse viewpoint, located 4.38 kilometers from the start.

The trail also passes by the Leoganger Klettersteig Süd information point, providing valuable insights into the area. Additionally, benches and picnic sites are scattered throughout the route, offering opportunities to rest and enjoy the scenery.

Please note that some points of interest, such as the Teufelsloch cave entrance and Panorama Passauer Hütte, are slightly off the main trail and may require a detour to visit.
