Located in the beautiful Prealpes de Haute-Provence region, this extremely difficult 39.832 km circular hiking route will challenge even the most experienced hikers. With a total elevation gain of 2297 meters, this trail is not for the faint of heart and is estimated to take nearly 15 hours to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, hikers will come across the picturesque Lac des Eaux Chaudes, located 10.51 km from the start. This serene lake offers a perfect spot to rest and take in the surrounding natural beauty. Continuing on, at 9.83 km from the start, you'll find the historic ruins of Les Eaux Chaudes - Camp de Repos, adding a touch of intrigue to the hike.
