This extremely difficult circular hiking route in the Puy de la Sèche area covers a distance of 39.832 kilometers with an elevation gain of 2297 meters, taking approximately 14 hours and 57 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, hikers will first come across the historic site of Les Eaux Chaudes - Camp de Repos at 9.83 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail, at 2.38 kilometers, you will find the Cabane de la Val Pousane, a shelter for hikers to rest and take shelter.
The route also passes by the beautiful Lac des Eaux Chaudes located 10.51 kilometers away from the start. For a unique experience, hikers can also visit the Cabane du col de Mariaud, a shelter with a website for more information, conveniently located at the beginning of the trail.
