This extremely difficult 11.076-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Petite Séolane area. Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will first come across the Abbey of Laverq, a historic monastery just 0.06 kilometers from the start of the trail. Further along, at 0.19 kilometers in, you'll find the Gîte du Laverq, an alpine hut where you can take a rest and enjoy the surroundings.

As you continue on, at 1.67 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Cabane de Clot Giraud, a shelter where you can take a break and admire the views. Along the way, you'll also come across various information points such as L'Abbaye, Bachas, and Les Sartres, providing you with interesting insights into the area.

Midway through the hike, at 3.74 kilometers, you'll reach the Col de Séolane, a natural saddle offering panoramic views of the surroundings. From here, you can continue on to reach the summit of Petite Séolane, a natural peak located 5.54 kilometers from the start of the trail. The hike offers a total elevation gain of 1241 meters, so be prepared for a challenging ascent.
