You are about to embark on a scenic hike in the Mirador Rio Blanco area. This out-and-back route spans a distance of 4.2 kilometers with an elevation gain of 34 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The estimated duration for this hike is around 1 hour and 3 minutes.
As you start your journey, you will come across a farm at the beginning of the trail, located approximately 0.37 kilometers from the starting point. About 0.11 kilometers into the hike, a shelter will provide a nice spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Further along the trail, at around 2.11 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a viewpoint offering stunning views of the area. This is a great place to pause and soak in the beauty of the landscape.
For those looking to extend their adventure, a campsite and a fast-food spot operated by the Mapuche community can be found approximately 0.43 and 0.39 kilometers from the trail start, respectively. These make for perfect pit stops to rest and refuel before continuing your journey.
However, please note that "El rincón del Motoco" campsite, located about 1.88 kilometers from the trail start, is off the main path, so plan accordingly if you intend to visit this site.
