Welcome to the hiking route to La Charca Verde!
Located in a scenic area, this easy out-and-back trail covers a distance of 3.6 kilometers with an elevation gain of 70 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. The estimated duration for this hike is approximately 1 hour.
Starting at Machacaderas parking area, you'll pass by Alta Montaña restaurant at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you'll come across Puerta de la Pedriza, a historic boundary stone about 0.1 kilometers from the start.
Midway through the hike, at around 1.8 kilometers from the trailhead, you'll find La Charca Verde, a serene water feature where you can take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Nearby, Fuente de las Zorras spring offers a refreshing stop for hikers.
