The trail is 11.625 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 366 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge both your endurance and strength. As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail to leave your vehicle before embarking on the adventure. About 4.66 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the "Pedra do Ouro" shelter, where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views of the surroundings.
Continuing on, at around 5.47 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a refreshing spring where you can refill your water bottles and take a moment to rest. Further along the trail, at 5.81 kilometers, you will reach the "Cachoeira dos Brejos parte alta" waterfall, a magnificent sight to behold. Additionally, nearby, you can also visit the "Cachoeira dos Brejos parte baixa" waterfall, located at the same distance from the start point.
It is important to note that there are historic city gates near the trail, but they are not directly on the path and are best viewed from a distance.
