This challenging 11.877-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning Morro dos Dois Irmãos in a beautiful area. The trail starts at a parking area and as you begin your journey, you will pass by the historic city gates. Make sure to take in the views as you ascend, as the elevation gain is 663 meters.
About 5.01 kilometers into the hike, you will find the shelter known as Pedra do Serrador, where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail, at the 5.16-kilometer mark, you will come across the cave entrance of Gruta Pedra da Laranjeira, although it is slightly off the trail.
The highlight of the hike, Morro dos Dois Irmãos, a peak that stands at 8.654589178990028 meters above sea level, is located at the 5.94-kilometer mark. The panoramic views from the top are definitely worth the effort.
