This challenging hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Monumento ai Caduti - Decauville (Piazzette-Carletto). The trail is an out-and-back type, spanning a distance of approximately 10.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 591 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding experience.
As you begin your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. About 1.16 kilometers from the start, you will find ruins that are steeped in history. Further along, at around 1.75 kilometers, you'll encounter the Sacrario Vaccherezza memorial, offering a moment of reflection.
For sustenance, there are drinking water points located at 1.73 kilometers and 1.95 kilometers from the start. Additionally, at 0.95 kilometers, there is a wayside shrine worth exploring. As you continue on, you'll reach the peak of Truc Censurano at 1.93 kilometers and another peak at 5.47 kilometers, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural landscape.
To keep hydrated, be sure to refill your water bottles at the drinking water point located 0.44 kilometers from the start. Further up the trail, at 4.1 kilometers, you'll find the refreshing Sorgenti Teisou spring to replenish your energy.
For information along the way, there are informational points at 0.95 kilometers and 0.6 kilometers from the start. Finally, there is a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail for your convenience.
