Hiking : Punta Ciama Betto

This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Punta Ciama Betto. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 6.825 kilometers with an elevation gain of 169 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.

As you start your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area for your convenience. This is a great spot to leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike.

As you make your way further, about 1.15 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a drinking water point that can be very useful to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated throughout the hike. This will be a crucial point, especially on warmer days.

Around the 2.89-kilometer mark, you will find the Foresteria della Certosa, an alpine hut where you can rest and maybe even grab a bite to eat. This could serve as a nice rest stop to recharge before continuing on the trail.

At about midway through the hike, there is another drinking water point located about 15 minutes away, allowing you to hydrate once again and keep your energy up for the journey back.

Towards the end of the trail, approximately 3.41 kilometers from the start, you will reach Punta Ciama Betto, a peak with stunning views that will make your hike worthwhile. This is the perfect spot to relax, take in the scenery, and maybe have a snack before heading back.
