This challenging hiking route takes you through the picturesque area surrounding Magasfigyelő. The trail spans a distance of 7.5 kilometers and offers an elevation gain of 154 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Határfa picnic site about 3.74 kilometers from the beginning. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy a meal amidst the lush surroundings. Further along the trail, at the 1.84-kilometer mark, you will find the Kaltes Bründl spring, where you can replenish your water supply.

Around the 3.55-kilometer mark, you will reach the Szarvas-hegy peak, offering panoramic views of the area. Not far from this peak is the Magasfigyelő viewpoint, located at the 3.75-kilometer mark, providing stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape.

For those interested in history, the trail also passes by the Az erdélyi diákotthon mártírjainak kopjafája memorial at the 0.31-kilometer mark and the Nyírfa-kereszt wayside cross at the 1.65-kilometer mark.

Throughout the hike, there are several points where you can rest and refuel, such as the Kövesároki szivárgók spring at the 1.64-kilometer mark and the Határfa picnic site at the 0.31-kilometer mark.
