This extremely difficult hiking route takes you on an out-and-back journey to Lavertezzo, Gerra, and Efra via Costa in Verzasca. With a total distance of 9.549 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1441 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart.
Starting off, you will pass by the beautiful Cascata di Val Mött waterfall, located just 0.95 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue your trek, you will come across a couple of parking areas, one of which has a fee for parking. It's always a good idea to have some change handy for parking fees.
Around the 4.77-kilometer mark, you'll encounter a water feature where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. Along the way, you'll also find benches where you can rest and take in the surrounding nature. Just 0.02 kilometers from the start, there is an information point called Bivio Fromighera, providing insights about the area.
