This extremely difficult hiking route covers a distance of 10.873 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1331 meters. The total duration for this out-and-back trail is approximately 5 hours and 50 minutes.

The hike starts in a picturesque area surrounded by nature. Along the way, hikers will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, there is a parking area available for those arriving by car. Further along, about 1.37 kilometers into the hike, there is a picnic site and BBQ area for hikers to take a break and enjoy a meal.

Around the midway point of the trail, at a distance of 5.44 kilometers from the start, hikers will encounter the beautiful laghetto Orgnana, a water feature perfect for a serene moment of relaxation. As you continue your journey, take note of the various water sources available along the way for refilling your water supplies.

For those interested in local cuisine, there is a restaurant called Grotto al Ponte located 0.08 kilometers from the trail, offering a delicious dining option for hikers. Additionally, there are several parking areas along the route for convenience, some requiring a fee for usage.

As you approach the endpoint of the trail, at a distance of 2.09 kilometers from the start, you will find a scenic waterfall, a perfect spot for taking in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
