This hiking route takes you on a 7.005-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 516 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek. The route is an out-and-back trail named "Camino a Las lagunas de Claveles y los Pájaros" in a picturesque area.

Starting at the designated parking area, it is essential to prepare with enough water and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure. The trail leads you through breathtaking scenery, with various water bodies, such as Laguna Chica de Peñalara. This small lake is located 1.75 kilometers from the start and offers a peaceful spot to rest and admire the surrounding nature.

As you continue on the trail, you will encounter several other water sources, all within a few kilometers from each other. These spots provide opportunities to refill your water supply and enjoy the tranquility of the area.
