This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Camino a Las lagunas de Claveles y los Pájaros. The trail is 7.148 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 516 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, it is essential to bring plenty of water and snacks for the journey ahead. The trail will lead you through stunning landscapes, with viewpoints along the way to take in the scenery.

About 1.75 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the picturesque Laguna Chica de Peñalara. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. As you continue on, you will pass by various water sources, perfect for refilling your water bottle.

Around the 3.29 kilometer mark, you will find several water points that are easily accessible from the trail. These are great spots to rest and take in the beauty of the area.

At 3.48 kilometers, you will come across more water sources off the trail, followed by a viewpoint at around 3.05 kilometers. This is a fantastic place to stop and admire the stunning vistas before continuing on.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter benches for resting and enjoying the surroundings, as well as informational points to learn more about the area. Be sure to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure, as conditions can change rapidly in mountainous regions.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back, giving you a different perspective of the landscape. The entire hike will take approximately 2 hours and 56 minutes to complete, but the memories you make along the way will last a lifetime. Enjoy the journey!
