Welcome to the hiking route to Las lagunas de Claveles y los Pájaros. This route is located in a stunning natural area with diverse landscapes to admire along the way.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your hike towards Laguna Chica de Peñalara, a beautiful water spot located approximately 1.75 kilometers from the start. While not directly on the trail, it is a worthwhile detour to take in the serene beauty of the lake.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across several water sources that are conveniently located alongside the path, making it easy to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated. Make sure to bring enough water with you as well, as this 6.611-kilometer hike is rated as difficult due to its length and elevation gain of 516 meters.

Around the 3.29-kilometer mark, you will encounter various viewpoints where you can pause to admire the surrounding scenery, such as Mirador de Javier. These spots offer a perfect opportunity to rest and capture some amazing photos of the landscape.

Further along the trail, at approximately 3.05 kilometers from the start, you will reach another viewpoint worth visiting. Take your time to soak in the panoramic views before heading back towards the starting point.
