This challenging hiking route will take you to the scenic Lampsenspitze in the beautiful area. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 9.144 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1154 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 5 hours to complete.
Starting at the Alpengasthof Pension Praxmar, you will begin your journey surrounded by stunning natural landscapes. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Bergersee, a serene water body just 2.23 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you will encounter the Wilder See at 3.44 kilometers, offering a unique element to your hike.
Midway through the trail, you will reach the Satteljoch, a saddle point with breathtaking views, located 4.03 kilometers from the start. Take a moment to appreciate the surroundings before continuing your ascent towards the Lampsenspitze, a prominent peak located 4.57 kilometers from the start.
On your way back, you can stop by the Alpengasthof Pension Praxmar for a well-deserved break and enjoy a meal at the restaurant before concluding your hiking adventure.
