This hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Tête de l'Âne. With a total distance of 18.2 kilometers and an elevation gain of 867 meters, this trail is classified as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a challenging adventure.
As you start your journey, you'll come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find parking options for your convenience. As you make your way forward, La Suche de Chantamont restaurant will be a great spot to refuel and relax around the 5.31 kilometer mark. Further along, at the 7.59 kilometer point, there's a natural water source to replenish your supplies.
Camping Rutor offers accommodation options around the 0.41 kilometer mark, providing a restful place to spend the night if you choose to extend your hike. Additionally, Taverna Coppapan, approximately 0.04 kilometers from the trail, offers sustenance for weary hikers.
Midway through your journey, you'll encounter Bar La Thuile and Roxy Bar for a quick break before continuing your trek. As you approach the peak at Tête de l'Âne, approximately 9.1 kilometers into the trail, the stunning views will make all your efforts worthwhile.
