This extremely difficult 14.9-kilometer circular hike follows the Itinerario Carsologico trail, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The route starts at Pian Marchisio parking area, where hikers can find information about the area before heading out. As you begin your journey, you'll pass by the memorial sites of Bartolo Avagnina and Ivan Abashan, paying respect to the area's history.

As you continue on, you'll encounter Lago della Brignola, a beautiful lake located 7.08 kilometers from the trail start. This picturesque spot is perfect for a rest and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Further along the trail, you'll come across other water features, such as a spring and small streams, providing refreshing sights and sounds throughout your hike.
