Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Alpet!
Monte Alpet is a beautiful destination with stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. The hike is an out-and-back route, starting at an elevation of 1229 meters and reaching the destination at 1598 meters. The total distance of the hike is 4.079 kilometers with an elevation gain of 351 meters.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by a wayside shrine, a bar, and a saddle in the initial part of the trail. These points of interest add cultural and historical significance to your journey.
As you continue on, you will reach the peak of Monte Alpet, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. This is a great spot to take a rest, soak in the beauty of nature, and maybe even have a snack from the cafe located nearby.
Along the way, you will also encounter an information point, a drinking water source, a viewpoint, and another wayside shrine. These points provide opportunities to learn more about the area, stay hydrated, and capture some memorable moments.
For your convenience, there is a wheelchair-accessible cafe and a parking lot available at the starting point of the hike. Additionally, a wayside cross named Croce Cardin marks the end of the trail before you head back.
