Hiking : Chaláska

This challenging 11.5-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the beautiful area around Chaláska. The route offers a total elevation gain of 142 meters and is estimated to take around 3 hours to complete.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your car securely before embarking on your journey. Along the way, you will pass by a fountain, perfect for a refreshing break at the halfway point. Keep an eye out for "Bar pod komínom," a pub located just 0.01 kilometers from the trail where you can enjoy some local sustenance.

One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the peak of Chaláska, located approximately 5.26 kilometers from the start of the trail. Take in the stunning views from the peak before continuing on your adventure.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, you will also encounter "Pôtor námestie," an information point located just 0.01 kilometers away. Here, you can learn more about the area and its history.

Before setting out on this challenging hike, make sure to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast. The trail can be steep at times, so be prepared for a strenuous but rewarding adventure through the picturesque landscape of Chaláska.
