This hiking route takes you through a scenic area with breathtaking viewpoints and easy terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling approximately 1.072 kilometers in distance with no elevation gain, making it super easy for hikers of all levels.

Starting at the parking area located 0.04 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, you will find a convenient spot to leave your vehicle before embarking on your journey. As you make your way along the path, you will come across several viewpoints that offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The first viewpoint is just 0.04 kilometers from the start, followed by another at 0.17 kilometers, and a third at 0.41 kilometers.

Midway along the trail, approximately 0.48 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Te Heru-o-Kahukura / Sugarloaf peak, a natural landmark that provides a picturesque backdrop for your hike. A seat is also located at 0.45 kilometers from the start, where you can take a moment to rest and soak in the scenery.

As you continue on your return journey, be sure to stop by the bench at 0.17 kilometers from the start to enjoy a peaceful break before reaching the parking area once again.
