This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and a peak to explore. Starting at the parking area near Te Heru-o-Kahukura / Sugarloaf peak, you will begin your adventure. The first point of interest is a viewpoint where you can admire the surrounding landscape. As you continue on, you will reach another viewpoint with seats where you can take a break and soak in the views.

The trail is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps back to the starting point. The total distance of the hike is 9.91 kilometers, with no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
