This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Heumahdgupf. The trail is 9.092 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1002 meters, making it a difficult hike. It will take you approximately 4 hours and 36 minutes to complete the round trip.

As you start your journey, you will come across Parkplatz GH Kreh, a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. Further along the route, at the beginning, you will find Gasthaus zur Kreh, a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat or take a break.

Midway through the hike, you will reach Berggasthof Edelweiss, an alpine hut where you can enjoy a meal while taking in the scenic views. For those interested in history, be sure to visit Alberfeldkogel/Rieder Hütte, which provides information about the area's past.

As you continue onwards, you will pass by Heumahdgupf, a peak that offers stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. Nearby, you can also explore the Pledischacht cave entrance and the Aussichtsplatz Heumahdgupf viewpoint.

Towards the end of the trail, you will encounter benches and viewpoints at Pledigupf, where you can rest and appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
