This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Poggio del Budrio. The trail is 6.644 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 109 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
As you start your hike, you will pass by Passo del Paretaio, a natural saddle, just 0.01 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Shortly after, at 0.0 kilometers, you will come across Monumento ai Caduti della Resistenza, a historic memorial that pays tribute to the resistance fighters.
As you continue, you will reach Piane della Ritornata peak at 1.71 kilometers, followed by Poggio della Cestina peak at 2.49 kilometers. The highest point of the hike, Poggio del Budrio peak, is located at 3.32 kilometers. This peak offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Along the way, make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, as well as wear appropriate footwear for the terrain. It's also a good idea to check the weather forecast before heading out on the trail.
After reaching the turnaround point at Poggio del Budrio, you will retrace your steps back to the starting point, taking in the picturesque scenery once again. This out-and-back route offers a rewarding hiking experience for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
