This hiking route will take you through the picturesque area surrounding Schachtkopf. The trail covers a distance of approximately 5.785 kilometers with an elevation gain of 595 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 2 hours and 49 minutes to complete.

Starting off from Alpencamp Marienberg, a campsite located just 0.18 kilometers from the trail, you will make your way through beautiful natural landscapes. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest such as parking areas, restaurants like OTTOs Grillstube, and several water sources where you can replenish your supply.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Stempel "Pulverkeller" information point, which is 0.98 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, you will reach the peak known as Schachtkopf, located 2.89 kilometers from the starting point. This peak offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area, making it a perfect spot to rest and take in the scenery.

Throughout the hike, you will also encounter informative points of interest such as Knappensteig, Wasserpriel, and Jacobi-Stollen, providing insights into the history and nature of the region. Additionally, benches and facilities are available at various points along the trail for hikers to take a break and relax.

One of the highlights of the hike is the Brabander Alm restaurant, situated just 0.04 kilometers from the trail. Here, you can enjoy a meal and recharge before continuing your journey.
