Hiking : Montée d'Ortolo

This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Montée d'Ortolo. The 6.5-kilometer trail offers a moderate level of difficulty with 34 meters of elevation gain.

Starting off at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area within the first few meters. As you continue on, at around 1.7 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the historic Wayside Cross known as Croix des Passants. This is a great spot to take a break and learn about the local history.

Around 1.4 kilometers further along the trail, you will encounter the peak known as Pioch Rond. While it's slightly off the main trail, it's worth the short detour for stunning views. Midway through the hike, you'll reach the highlight of the route - Montée d'Ortolo peak. This peak offers panoramic views of the surrounding area and is a great spot for some photos.
