This challenging hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Peña de San Salvador. The trail spans a total distance of 9.269 kilometers with an elevation gain of 142 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding journey.

Starting off at the trailhead, you'll pass by convenient parking areas at the very beginning of the route. As you make your way through the terrain, you'll encounter various points of interest along the path. At around 4.63 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the impressive peak of Peña de San Salvador, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

For sustenance along the way, Venta Morena, a restaurant, will be located just 0.03 kilometers from the trail. Additionally, historical sites such as the Rollo Jurisdiccional 1541 and Blasón memorials can be found approximately 2.82 kilometers into the hike.

Make sure to stay hydrated by taking advantage of the drinking water station situated nearby at the 2.82-kilometer mark. Also, be sure to check out the Centro de Recepción de Visitantes for any additional information about the area.
