This challenging out-and-back hiking route covers a distance of 9.32 kilometers with an elevation gain of 70 meters, taking approximately 2 hours and 19 minutes to complete. The trail starts at a parking area and leads you through a scenic area with various points of interest along the way.
At the beginning of the hike, you will find a drinking water point located 4.66 kilometers from the start, which can be a good spot to refill your water bottle. As you progress further, around the 1.45-kilometer mark, you will come across an information point where you can learn more about the area.
Midway through the hike, at 4.66 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Albergue de Arcusa, an alpine hut providing accommodation for hikers. This is a great place to take a break, enjoy the surroundings, and maybe even spend the night if you're planning a longer adventure.
On the way back, around 4.66 kilometers from the start, there is a BBQ area where you can rest and have a picnic while appreciating the natural beauty of the area.
Given the length and elevation gain of the hike, it is recommended to bring an adequate supply of water, wear proper hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
