This hiking route to Toblermann is an extremely difficult 12.734-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 1076 meters. The route will take an estimated 5 hours and 38 minutes to complete.

The trail begins at the parking area, where you can leave your car for free. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks for this challenging hike. As you embark on your journey, you will come across a wayside cross located at 0.33 kilometers from the start of the trail. This historic site adds a cultural touch to your hike.

Continuing on, at 0.62 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water source, perfect for refilling your water bottle if needed. Further along the trail, at 1.56 kilometers from the start, there is a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding views.

Midway through the hike, at 6.37 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak known as Toblermann. Take your time at the summit to admire the panoramic views before heading back the way you came.

Before embarking on this challenging trail, be sure to check the weather forecast and pack accordingly. Though difficult, the stunning views and sense of accomplishment at the summit make this hike well worth the effort.
