The Promenade du Chemin des Canotiers is a super easy out-and-back hiking route located in a picturesque area with plenty of points of interest to explore along the way.
Starting at Parking Venise, you'll embark on a leisurely stroll through the trail, passing by Parking spots along the way. About midway through the hike, you'll come across a water source where you can take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. Further down the trail, you'll encounter the historical Le Bar de l'West and a restaurant with limited wheelchair accessibility.
As you continue your journey, you'll also pass by a memorial, historic high-water mark, and various informational points of interest, such as De Port Lavigne à la Pierre Blanche. Make sure to take a moment to appreciate the viewpoints overlooking the Pont and the scenic beauty of the area.
For your convenience, there are benches scattered along the trail where you can rest and have a picnic at designated picnic sites. If you need a break, shelters are available as well.
Before heading out, it's essential to bring plenty of water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast. The total distance of the hike is approximately 0.991 kilometers with minimal elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels.
