This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and interesting landmarks. The total distance of the route is 3.634 kilometers with an elevation gain of 218 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for beginners.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Livagu Restaurant, located 0.22 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the path at 0.3 kilometers from the start, you will find the Bukit Tupai shelter where you can take a short break and admire the surroundings.

At 1.82 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Kiau Gap Viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the landscape. This is a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the area and capture some memorable photos.

As you make your way back, you can visit the Botanical Garden located 0.22 kilometers from the start. Additionally, at the same distance, you will find the Kinabalu Earthquake Monument, a significant historic landmark commemorating past events.
