Hiking : Glava nad Kraljiščem

This hiking route takes you through a picturesque area with stunning views and historical ruins. The trail is 6.028 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 856 meters, making it a difficult hike that may challenge even experienced hikers.

Starting at the parking area, located at the beginning of the trail, you will first come across a shelter called "Bivak gorskih reševalcev" around 2.25 kilometers into the hike. This shelter provides a nice spot to rest and take in the surroundings. As you continue on, you will encounter a spring named "Vodni vir" at around 1.1 kilometers from the start, offering refreshing water for you to refill your supplies.

Continuing further along the trail, at 3.01 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of "Glava nad Kraljiščem". This peak offers panoramic views of the surrounding area and is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery.

As you make your way back, around 1.56 kilometers from the start, you will find another peak called "Veliki Skedenj". Though this peak is slightly off the trail, it is worth the extra effort for the breathtaking views it offers.

This out-and-back route is a challenging yet rewarding hike that will test your endurance and provide you with memorable experiences. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
